Things to Improve:

The big problems here were the race-tracking of the resin around the edges of the block, and the trapped air that resulted. By keeping the fiber from hanging over the edge of the core, or pressing it more tightly into the corner, the “racetrack” can be minimized or removed. Placing the flow mesh neatly and evenly would help too! The big thing besides that would be to reduce the temperature down to around 100F and to throttle the infusion so the resin flows in at a slower rate. The resin can overtake the air and cause it to be come trapped when it can’t “fight it’s way” to the resin front. By eliminating the trapped air “island” at the end of the panel, and slowing the fill-rate, this would have been much improved and probably visibly air-free!
