In the spirit of those “Links” pages you used to see back before Google ate the internet… (I’m old)
I am hoping to put together a comprehensive list of composites-related resources online. I want it to be the kind of place where you open 50 tabs and spend two hours checking out things you never knew existed!
I need your help to find and include relevant resources. Please get in touch and let me know what you think should be included.
This is what’s here so far:
- Education and Learning: Links to schools, forums, books, training and learning resources.
- Engineering and Design: Placeholder and low-grade embarrassment. What should it be?
- Tooling Suppliers: Links to providers of tooling materials and completed tooling. Email me to be included or removed!
- Material Suppliers: Links to suppliers of composite materials. Not there yet!
- Equipment Suppliers: Links to suppliers of composites equipment.
As you can tell by looking around, this part of EC! has been “framed out” but not finished. It will require a lot of work and I am torn about how to do it fairly. I will never be able to include (or find) all the relevant organizations to create a comprehensive list, but this doesn’t have to be an all or nothing thing – it can evolve. I can just go scour the web myself and plug stuff in but ideally there would be some kind of opt-in / opt-out mechanism so a representative of an organization could say “Dude, take me off your list!” and I would. And should I include short summaries or just links?
