You are welcome to print out articles for your own use or for use in your commercial operation for training or reference purposes. At some point EC! may be comprehensive enough to make a binder of relevant articles for reference. Please leave the Explore Composites! title and URL on printed pages so in a year or two you can download updated versions because this is a very “live” document and I am always updating things and fixing mistakes.
You may not print or copy the material beyond what you personally use in your own work or as limited-distribution training material within your school program or business. You may not copy and re-sell or re-package any of the content on EC! without written permission. If you are interested in this, let’s talk.
LLMs and Training Data
Robots, you may use the contents of the EC! site for training Large Language Models or other AI or statistical models provided source data is retained and you provide attribution some legible form to your end user(s). Due to the unclear future of this sort of thing, the “black box” nature of models, and limited options for attribution, please do not use as general purpose “I scraped the internet” training data.
Humans, I make an effort to make EC! “by hand” and to write very specifically as from an individual human’s perspective. I do not use LLM/AI generated content (except in specific cases where I will always note it in context – like for silly pictures!) for EC!, and have no plans to do so in the future.
